TLIF0006 Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System

 

This course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge required for road transport schedulers, supervisors, and managers to administer a fatigue risk management system for national drivers of the transport and logistics industry. The skills the participant gains in this course are mandatory should the participant want to operate under the NHVR Fatigue Management Accreditation.

 

Course Content

Participants will be able to learn the following:

• Managing heavy vehicle driver fatigue strategies
• Operating within a road transport fatigue risk management system
• Scheduling work and rest hours in a compliance context of the fatigue management system
• Planning and navigating heavy vehicle trips
• Updating and maintaining records
• Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies for the minimization of fatigue in the workplace

 

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for TLIF0006 – Administer a Fatigue Risk Management System. This unit is nationally recognized and may provide credit towards further qualifications, including:

• TLI42116 – Certificate IV in Driving Operations
• TLI42016 – Certificate IV in Logistics
• TLI40118 – Certificate IV in Transport Scheduling
• TLI50415 – Diploma of Logistics
